Beatriz embodies our family history, geography and the burning passion to bring people together over good food and wine.

Portuguese and British, our family history began with Beatriz.

Born in Porto in 1870, Beatriz Leitão Carvalhosa Atkinson had family ties to the port trade even before meeting and marrying Andrew James Symington - the first Symington to arrive in Porto. Together, they built a legacy that prevails today with the fifth generation of our family.
